SR owned several weapons and had a valid F.O.I.D card. Unfortunately one night he injured himself while clearing one of his gun. (Yes that does happen so clear the gun first!) When the ambulance arrived they called the police who took it upon themselves to search his home. They recovered an AR-15 and charged him with having an illegal machine gun. We filed multiple motions and were eventually able to get the trumped up charged dismissed.
